The Tiger and the Deer (46 min.; directed by Sergio Sibrian)
This story shows the last elder that knows how to play the indigenous flute, called a reed whistle, accompanying the native dance 'The Tiger and The Deer', while he teaches the melodies to a young boy so that the tradition will not be lost. He tells about the indigenous massacre of 1932 in El Salvador which he survived. The young boy manages to learn and, along with the elder, he plays the musical melodies while we see the dance of the dancers.
