Screenwriting: Instructor Tom Hammond

Description:
This course is for anyone wanting to write better screenplays. The class covers screenwriting format, craft, and technique, with an emphasis on the fundamentals of storytelling. Students can apply the lessons to creating a new script for the first time or to revising a current script they may be working on. By the end of the class students will be well on their way to creating a professional, polished script.
Instructor Bio:
Tom Hammond has over 20 years of experience writing, editing and polishing feature screenplays. Tom is a produced screenwriter who graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in English Literature, Columbia College Hollywood with a B.A. in Film/Cinema/Video Studies and an M.A. in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute. He teaches at the University of Tampa and Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL.
