NARRATIVE SHORTS BLOCKS #1 - Comedy
"The Good Neighbor" (dir. Taeho Kang) -- An all-American security guard finishes his night shift at the U.S. Immigration Department. Unfortunately for him, his new, naive Chinese neighbor will not give him peace the next morning. Let the culture clash begin!
"Taxi Stop" (dir. Marie Enthoven) -- Because of a railway strike, Antoine is due to go to Geneva to present a seminar on Team building, by carpooling.
"Ruprecht" (dir. Yangzom Brauen) -- Unable to cope with the sheer amount of illegal leaf blowers (legally banned but not enforced), the city of Los Angeles is given unexpected help from an outside source. A solitary man who stands up against these terrorizing dust blowers; Ruprecht the bold executioner. In his search for meaning and justice, even a vigilante like him can find love under the most unique circumstances.
"Back Stock" (dir. Trixx Santizo) -- A worker in a retail store quits but is quickly going to be replaced by someone else, but to the managers' disappointment the candidates are horrible.
"Default" (dir. E.M. Spairow) -- When a destitute man defaults on his student loans, he faces losing the only thing he has left.
"Label" (dir. Jaschar L Marktanner) -- Two young women sit in a café and sip coffee out of way too small cups while smoking an unhealthy amount of cigarettes and talking about everything under the sun and beyond, like aliens.
"Shotgun" (dir. Maverick Moore) -- Three girls burn rubber and leave no survivors on an inexplicably wild ride. Shotgun!
"Bingo Night" (dir. Jordan Liebowitz)
