Directing for the Camera: Instructor Buddy Winset
Tuesdays 6-9PM (August 6, 13, 20, 27, September 3, 10)
This is a 6 week course with in depth training and hands on teaching.
Description:
Students will learn the art of visual story-telling, shot selection, framing and moving the camera. Shot planning, strategy and maximizing the potential of the moving camera. Students will work hands on with top end professional cameras in a soundstage environment.
Instructor Bio:
Mr. Winsett has thirty five years’ experience in the fields of television, music, movie and satellite communications. He has been director of production and engineering for national television networks, and has won national awards, including a Presidential Commission from former President Bush, which he wrote, produced and directed. Owner and Founder of Chameleon Communications Group, as well as Indie Studios, Mr. Winsett has been an integral part of the Florida film industry. A passionate teacher, he strives to pass on a lifetime of knowledge to upcoming filmmakers, and continue to support and outfit the Florida independent film movement with top flight service, gear, and studio facilities.
