ABOUT ABOUT

Drama Short Block #1 (92 min.)

Meeting Gary - Min Dai, Director (Short) 14 min.
A film about domestic child neglect. The story is set up in the low income, 'ghetto' neighborhood. A boy's dream of becoming a professional dancer is being ignored by his own parents because they are too busy dealing with their own life struggles. He keeps reaching out for love and understanding, but keeps getting rejected. Is anybody out there who is paying attention to this boy's most basic need for love and support? Will he carry on going and follow his dream?

The Fay - Mark Bonocore, Director (Short) 28 min.
Drawing from ancient Celtic myth and medieval Arthurian romance, 'The Fay' is a tale of sacrificial love, as a young knight is wounded in battle, only to be rescued by the magical arts of a beautiful nymph, who saves his life but then refuses to let him go. Like a pre-Raphaelite painting come to life, 'The Fay' has almost no dialog, but relies on lush cinematography, rich production design, and a lyrical score to present a timeless fable about the joy, the power, and the pain of love.

The Drink - Cam Simon, Director (Short) 30 min.
After serving in Iraq, A marine comes home psychologically damaged by the loss of his childhood friend in combat and must face something that may forever change his life in more ways than he can imagine.

Use The Elevator - Michael Musselman, Director (Short) 20 min
After class a boy meets a girl everyday in an elevator for a lusty romance routine, but is there something more outside this scheduled affair?
